CTBCA officials visited Canaltay

Cyprus Turkish Construction Building Contractors Association (CTBCA) President Cafer Gürcafer, Vice President Erdim Oras, CTBCA Board Member (Secretary) Yağmur Özyalçın (Active Member) Burçin Döveç paid a courtesy visit to the Minister of Public Works and Transport, Resmiye Canaltay.

During the visit; an exchange of views took place on the development of the construction sector, the training of intermediate staff in the sector, and the amendment of the Rules and Procedures Applied in Construction Works Tenders (No 18/1998), and the Building Contractors Association and Council Laws (No 19/1998) were discussed. An agreement was reached on the point about the need to schedule and implement the projects that ought to be carried out by the Cyprus Turkish Construction Contractors Association (KTİMB) and the Building Council.

During the meeting, which took place in a positive atmosphere, it was agreed that they should get back together as soon as possible.
