Gürcafer: We have to protect the labourers

Cafer Gürcafer, President of the Cyprus Turkish Building Contractors Association, issued a message on the occasion of May the 1^st, Labour Day.

In his message, the President of the Cyprus Turkish Building Contractors Association (CTBCA) Cafer Gürcafer stated that Covid-19 deeply affected work life and the economy, and stated that “The duty of employers at this point is to protect the labourers”.

CTBCA President Cafer Gürcafer wished the May the 1^st Labour Day to strengthen the spirit of solidarity with peace in labour, and to enable workers to live in a more prosperous world. He said, “I congratulate the labour and solidarity day of all the workers of the world.”

Calling on the employers, in his message on May the 1^st Labour Day, Gürcafer said, “Let’s respect labour and labourers, let’s give our employees a holiday on May the 1^st.’’
