Statement from CTBCA on the public foundation elderly care house

Cyprus Turkish Building Contractors Association (CTBCA) released a statement regarding the news in the press about the People’s Foundation Elderly Care Home in Sınırüstü.

Erdoğan Bekiroğlu, Member of the Board of Directors of CTBCA who is responsible for the construction of Public Foundation Elderly Nursing Home in Sınırüstü, is as follows:

“Although we envisaged that the renovation of the building would be completed in 2 months, it was discovered that the electrical and sanitary installations were seriously damaged during the demolishing works and needed to be completely replaced, which extended the estimated period.

During the elapsed time, the works have not been interrupted and the necessary project needed to install the new electrical and water installation for the building has been developed. The aim is that the renovation works will be completed as soon as possible.”

Cafer Gürcafer, President of the Cyprus Turkish Building Contractors Association (CTBCA), celebrated the 19^th of May Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day.

In his message released on the occasion of May 19^th, Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day, Gürcafer stated that Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk bestowed on the youth the most important day of the national struggle, May 19^th, 1919, “Our greatest wish is; that our youth make our nation proud in areas such as politics, education, culture, arts and sports and advance the Republic, which is entrusted to them by Atatürk, to higher levels.’’

On the 102nd anniversary of the arrival of the Great Leader Atatürk in Samsun, when the torch of independence was lit, CTBCA President Gürcafer remembered with respect Atatürk, who brought independence and democracy to the people of Turkey, and observed the May 19^th Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day of the youth.
