What is needed is an example of solidarity.’’ He went on to express his wish for the continuation of such wonderful projects. After Gürcafer’s speech, a technical presentation about the project was conducted.

TAÇOY: ‘’THE ANSWER TO THE QUESTION ‘WHAT WILL BECOME OF ME TOMORROW?’ LIES IN THE SOCIABILITY OF THE STATE. OUR MOST SINCERE DESIRE IS TO OPEN LAPTA NURSING HOSPITAL ON NOVEMBER 15, 2023”

Minister of Labour and Social Security Hasan Taçoy said that his ambition is to integrate nursing homes into social life and aim to coalesce them with children and other people by creating a project for this.

Noting that the Nursing Home Project will come to being with the cooperation of the state, local governments and non-governmental organizations, with contribution from all, Taçoy stated that they set out to sign into life a holistic project with cafes, sports fields and different activity centres.

Taçoy, who stated that on the 39th anniversary of TRNC’s founding, they took the initiative to provide a better service to children and the elderly in need of care by laying the foundation of the Love House and Nursing Home Projects: “The answer to the question ‘what will become of me tomorrow?’ lies in the sociability of the state. Backing on the authority of the government, we have rolled up our sleeves in order to sign into life many projects. We will continue to undertake new projects in order to extend that hand of hope to the people and to also show that the hand of the State is always with our people. This project, which comprises 34 bedrooms spread over an area of 4000 square meters, can comfortably accommodate approximately 68 people. This is what our country needs. We will determine the best of its kind by extending the social hand of the state to everyone, merging it with the power of local governments and non-governmental organizations. I would like to thank the Cyprus Turkish Building Contractors Association, Alsancak and Lapta Municipalities, and the officials of the Social Services Department for their support in this project.”

ÜSTEL: ” WE WILL IMPLEMENT, IN SOLIDARITY WITH THE STATE, EXEMPLARY PROJECTS WITH OUR LOCAL RESOURCES AND WITH NON-GOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATIONS, AND PROJECTS SUPPORTED BY TURKEY.”

As for the Prime Minister Ünal Üstel, he reminded that since the day they formed the government they have set out to do whatever they have said they would do, and added that they are working to introduce the services that the people desire and to implement the reforms that have not yet been realized.
